Gaylord

We went back to the Gaylord for the 3rd summer.  This is our last vacation before school starts back up.  We had a great view of the lake from our room.  The first night we had dinner and then headed to the water park.  It was about 7 so there were hardly any other people there.  It was great.  We had the whole lazy river to ourselves.

Owen could still stare at the trains for hours.  There was a new train that he wanted to spend most of his time looking at...the carnival train.  The fish and fountain were pretty entertaining as well.  Jeremy was teaching Owen ladies first and to open the door for me.  It was pretty cute watching Owen head into the room first, Jeremy would clear his throat, Owen would back up and say "ladies first, momma."  Priceless!!!!

Graham came up the next afternoon to swim with us at the water park.  The boys had a great time chasing each other and avoiding the waterfalls.  Gram and Grandad came back to the hotel for a tour (by Owen) and to take Graham back home.  The boys enjoyed showing them the fish and taking all of Grammy's pennies to throw in the fountain.

I have been without a computer (my school one was too slow to blog and our home one crashed) hence no blogs for awhile.  But I am back!!!  Hopefully I can keep up from now on.

Last weekend (Aug. 5), we went to the Hurst's to cool off in the pool.  Owen and Grayson swam and played.  Owen loves to throw any toy for Jersey to chase.  That dog would do this for hours.  We always end up having to "hide" the toy so she can rest!  We ordered pizza and pasta for dinner, it was delicious.  On the way home, Jeremy and I had to pull out all the tricks to keep Owen awake.  That swimming will wear you out!
