St. Jude Give Thanks.Walk

The walk went great!!! I was so proud to be a part of such an amazing event. I could not believe how many kids, parents, and teachers from our school came to walk. We had 35 kids and I didn't even count the adults. Bransom ended up raising over $3,000 for St. Jude. I cannot wait to do it again. The whole walk total was over 500 people!!! What a success.

Here is a picture of us with Tyler. We are so thankful for St. Jude and the care they gave to Tyler during his stay.

My little helper

When Jeremy got home from work on Monday Owen asked him oh so sweetly if we could put up the tree. I had already said yes but Jeremy had to agree to get the boxes out of the attic. So, we put up 2 trees and the lights. We saved the ornaments for the next morning. He did have to lay under the tree to watch TV. I am going to have gree tree pieces on the floor for the next month and half.

The first thing we had to do Tuesday was put those ornaments on the tree! Owen helped out ALOT! He got the bottom half while I hung on the top. There are a few clusters but not too bad. Now he wants to wrap presents!

Happy 4th Birthday!

Owen had an interesting birthday. Throughout Saturday night, he kept waking up and crying. His ear hurt and he couldn't get comfortable. I woke up at 8 to call the Dr. so we could get in to see someone. We had to bribe him with opening his presents from us to go to the Dr. He had a bad ear infection and we are so glad we went in. So after going to FW to the Dr, getting a RX filled, and opening presents it was time to head to Going Apes for the party.

He had a blast and you would've never known he felt bad earlier!!! He really got into the air hockey games and now wants one for our house. Ha! He was too cute opening presents. Every time he opened a gift (even if it was just a shirt or clothes) he was sooo excited!

Owen is so fun right now. He cracks us up ALL the time. Sometimes we wonder where he comes up with some of the things he says. I love this age!!! Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us.

Halloween

Trick or treating was so much fun this year. Owen really got into it with his cousins, Luke and Graham. I think he felt more comfortable with them beside him. He spilled his bucket about four times because he kept holding it by the sides instead of the handle! We found some fun churches in Cleburne to go to and loaded up on the candy. He was nice enough to share with us...even the good ones.
