Fun at the Zoo

Owen was soooo excited about Tyler going with us to the zoo. He could hardly contain himself. They were in their own world. Walking around holding hands, singing at the top of their lungs, and playing Ring Around the Rosie in the middle of the walk way. Crazy boys! They had a super time. The lion even roared and grunted for us. We had to take Tyler to meet Tom and Jenn for the TCU baseball game. Neither boy wanted to leave the other. What a fun day.

Fun in the Snow

Finally, a day warm enough to go out and play! We bundled up and stayed out for about 45 minutes. We packed Owen's dump truck full of snow and attempted a snowman. The best was throwing snowballs at each other! Friday we went to Grandview to go sledding. I have a few videos that I will try and post. It was a lot of fun!!!

Snow Day 4X

Can you believe last week? I have never been off of school for more than 2 days...and we were off for 4 DAYS!!! I kept thinking, there is NO way they will call it off again. They did. So, we were couped up inside for several days. When the rolling blackouts started, our electricity went out at 6:00 but came back on at 6:45. It went out again at 9:00 but didn't come back on. We called, and called, and called. We stayed at a hotel for the night and the next morning the electricity was back on. Whew!!!

Owen had a good time "cleaning" out his toy box. He thought it would be fun to sleep in there so we made a comfy bed.
