Christmas Part 2

Christmas day was so much fun with my family. Everyone showed up around 3:00. We were able to visit and watch Owen and Piper play. Piper really liked Owen's room and played in there a long time by herself because Owen was busy playing football with the boys. We took family pictures, ate dinner, and finally opened presents. It was so fun to watch both Owen and Piper's reaction to their gifts! Piper really got some girly things including SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cutest was the Cowboy cheerleader outfit. We don't all get together very often so this was a really special day.

Merry Christmas to all!!!

I will have to do this in 2 parts....We spent the 24th in Grandview with the Moore's. We had a great lunch and wanted to relax. The kids were patient for a little bit. They really wanted to open those presents.

Emma was the eager one for presents from Gram and Grandad! She finally talked them into opening the gifts, before dinner. There were 4 piles of gifts and it was hard to wait for your turn. The scavenger hunt was super! The little boys didn't really know what was going on. THey just ran after Emma and Luke. The final gift was on the back porch. Jerry and Jayne got some old school innertubes. Last year when it snowed our card board boxes didn't make it long. This year we will be ready. LET IT SNOW!!!

Dear Santa...

These boys waited so patiently to see Santa. Such excitement!!! We are so glad Brandy and Graham came with us. Owen was not going to sit in Santa's lap alone. Graham said he was but quickly changed his mind when it was our turn. They sat and smiled for their picture and told Santa what they wanted him to bring. Graham said he wanted an Itouch and Owen wants a workbench. We shall see if they were good boys this year :)

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving...a little late! Pics from Friday in Jacksboro without Quin, Lindsay, and Piper. Piper still had a virus so they couldn't join us. We sure missed them!!

Thursday pictures are from Grandview without Graham. We did get to see him later that afternoon since he was feeling better.

We are so THANKFUL for our FAMILY! We love you dearly!

St. Jude Give Thanks.Walk

The walk went great!!! I was so proud to be a part of such an amazing event. I could not believe how many kids, parents, and teachers from our school came to walk. We had 35 kids and I didn't even count the adults. Bransom ended up raising over $3,000 for St. Jude. I cannot wait to do it again. The whole walk total was over 500 people!!! What a success.

Here is a picture of us with Tyler. We are so thankful for St. Jude and the care they gave to Tyler during his stay.

My little helper

When Jeremy got home from work on Monday Owen asked him oh so sweetly if we could put up the tree. I had already said yes but Jeremy had to agree to get the boxes out of the attic. So, we put up 2 trees and the lights. We saved the ornaments for the next morning. He did have to lay under the tree to watch TV. I am going to have gree tree pieces on the floor for the next month and half.

The first thing we had to do Tuesday was put those ornaments on the tree! Owen helped out ALOT! He got the bottom half while I hung on the top. There are a few clusters but not too bad. Now he wants to wrap presents!

Happy 4th Birthday!

Owen had an interesting birthday. Throughout Saturday night, he kept waking up and crying. His ear hurt and he couldn't get comfortable. I woke up at 8 to call the Dr. so we could get in to see someone. We had to bribe him with opening his presents from us to go to the Dr. He had a bad ear infection and we are so glad we went in. So after going to FW to the Dr, getting a RX filled, and opening presents it was time to head to Going Apes for the party.

He had a blast and you would've never known he felt bad earlier!!! He really got into the air hockey games and now wants one for our house. Ha! He was too cute opening presents. Every time he opened a gift (even if it was just a shirt or clothes) he was sooo excited!

Owen is so fun right now. He cracks us up ALL the time. Sometimes we wonder where he comes up with some of the things he says. I love this age!!! Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us.

Halloween

Trick or treating was so much fun this year. Owen really got into it with his cousins, Luke and Graham. I think he felt more comfortable with them beside him. He spilled his bucket about four times because he kept holding it by the sides instead of the handle! We found some fun churches in Cleburne to go to and loaded up on the candy. He was nice enough to share with us...even the good ones.
