Yee Haw

Owen is going to be a cowboy for Halloween. I wanted him to try everything on to see if we needed to get anything else (hate to look last minute). He really liked his outfit. He went straight to the mirror in his bathroom. I bet he looked at himself for about 5 minutes. He thought he was so COOL! The vest makes the outfit...thanks Jenn for letting us borrow.

Homecoming Parades

We were lucky enough to go to 2 parades in 2 days! Burleson's Homecoming parade was last Thursday. We got there about 30 minutes before it started to get a spot. Jeremy and I heard "when is it coming" at least 100 times. Thankfully we had a balloon in the car to occupy him. As soon as we saw the first group of ROTC students, Owen did not stop waving until the last car went by! It did take him a bit to get used to the noise.

Grandview's Homecoming parade was Friday afternoon. Owen, Graham, Granddad, and Gram were at the beginning of the route...TONS of candy. I am talking a whole kroger sack full!!! It looked like they had just finished trick-or-treating. Jeremy and I got there at the end of the parade to help pick up the candy.

Waiting patiently in the car for the parade to start.

Once the parade started, Owen wanted to back up!!!

Waving at all of the floats.

STILL waving!!!

Weekend Fun

Grammers stayed with us last weekend. Saturday morning we hit it early to get to the zoo before it opened. The weather was beautiful and the boys had such a great time! We went straight to the Mola before the crowd. So for the rest of the trip, we were going against traffic. A little bit different but it worked out to our advantage. The boys were worn out so it was time to head home for a nap.
